Four Chinese nationals held for operating illegal marriage bureau

The Department of Immigration (DoI) has arrested four Chinese nationals from Sohrakhutte on charges of running an illegal marriage bureau.
According to the DOI, the individuals were operating the bureau despite holding business visas. One of the detainees is a woman. The four had reportedly been arranging marriages between women from poor and remote communities and Chinese men, with some women allegedly sent to China.They were arrested on Friday and are currently under investigation.
