Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey resigns

KATHMANDU: Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey of Gandaki Province has officially stepped down from his position.

CM Pandey submitted his resignation to Province Chief Dilli Raj Bhatta on Wednesday. This decision comes in the wake of the CPN (Maoist Center) withdrawing its support from the government, resulting in CM Pandey losing his majority in the provincial administration.
