Amid rising tensions in West Asia, the Government of Nepal has deployed Nepal Airlines Corporation to operate rescue and facilitation flights for Nepali nationals starting April 3. The move followed a high-level decision led by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal. Scheduled flights include Kathmandu–Dubai and Kathmandu–Dammam routes. Earlier, 291 Nepalis and the bodies of nine deceased nationals were repatriated via Kuwait Airways to Gautam Buddha International Airport, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
