Kathmandu. The highest temperature so far has been measured at 52.3 degrees Celsius in the Mungeshpur area of the capital of India.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature was recorded at 52.3 degrees Celsius at 2:30 pm at the Mungeshpur weather station. Last Tuesday, the maximum temperature of Mungeshpur and Narela was 49.9 degree Celsius and 49.8 degree Celsius in Najafgarh.
The maximum temperature has been gradually increasing over the past few days and the night temperature has been increasing steadily. Large parts of India are currently in the grip of a severe heat wave.
Which has seriously affected the health and livelihood of the people. Due to the heat wave, the Delhi government has stopped piped water supply. This step has been taken due to low water level in Yamuna river, the main source of water for Delhi.
