  • Launch of a doctoral pre-admission scheme between HKU’s Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Tsinghua University’s Department of Electrical Engineering;
  • Enhanced academic exchanges between HKU’s Faculty of Law and Tsinghua University’s School of Law; and
  • Research collaboration between HKU’s Laboratory for Space Research and Tsinghua University’s Department of Astronomy.

HKU Acting President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Richard Wong said, “As leading higher education institutions in Hong Kong and the Mainland, HKU and Tsinghua University have long maintained close ties in academic collaboration and talent development. I sincerely hope that we will continue to expand and deepen cooperation across more disciplines, fostering frequent and productive academic exchanges to nurture globally competitive talent.”
