Kathmandu. The situation in Delhi, the capital of India, has become tense. Farmers from Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh have left for Delhi to protest.
The situation has become tense as the central government is making many preparations to prevent farmers from entering Delhi. The central government has closed all four main roads leading to Delhi to prevent farmers from entering Delhi. Vehicles are stuck in long jams on the roads inside and outside Delhi due to the impact on traffic. Considering the farmers’ movement, the central government has deployed more than 5,000 paramilitary personnel in several places in Delhi. In view of the security situation, Delhi Metro has closed eight railway stations. Farmers are preparing to enter Delhi by riding tractors, carrying food items and refrigerators that will last for several days.
