Pokhara, 7 February / An international flag park has been constructed in Pokhara. Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality has built the park in collaboration with the Lions Club.
A park has been built on the banks of the Seti River located at Pokhara 9 Mahendrapul. The park was inaugurated on Monday.
Flags of 193 countries belonging to the United Nations are placed in the park.
Dhanraj Archay, the mayor of the metropolitan city, said that the construction of the park cost 70 lakhs. Apart from that, some buildings and pillars have also been built. The said expenses will be borne by Mahaganar.
There is a big flag of Nepal in the park and there is a place to read newspapers. In the same place, the Non-Residential Nepali Association has built a modern toilet by spending crores of rupees.
