Kathmandu’s new elected Mayor Balen Shah takes oath of office

Kathmandu: Newly elected Mayor of Kathmandu Balen Shah and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol along with other local leaders were sworn-in at a ceremony on Monday.

Balen Shah was administered the oath of office by Chief Electoral Officer Raju Kumar Khatiwada. After taking the oath in the Nepali language, Balen also recited the oath in Nepal Bhasa.
