Khotang. Khotang has been declared a district of complete vaccination assurance and sustainability. After all the ten local levels of the district declared complete vaccination assurance and sustainability, today the district was formally declared as a complete immunization assurance and sustainability district.

Jeevan Prasad Chaulagai, Head of District Health Office, informed that the district has been declared a complete vaccination assurance and sustainability district after 2,881 children from birth to 15 months and 6,422 children from 16 months to five years have been given all types of vaccinations (13 types) provided free of charge by the government.

He said, ‘In the coming days, everyone has an equal role in providing all kinds of vaccinations to all children free of charge. With the coordination and cooperation of all, the complete vaccination program should be made successful.

San Bahadur Rai, the coordinator of the district vaccination coordination committee and the head of the district coordination committee, presented the certificate of complete immunization assurance and sustainability district to the head of the health office, Choulagai.

On this occasion, the chiefs of all ten local levels, excellent health workers, excellent employees, excellent female health volunteers, various organizations were honored. Out of 14 in Koshi province, Khotang is the fourth to declare full immunization and sustainability district.
