Kathmandu. Five people have died in a wildfire that has spread across 10,000 acres in Los Angeles.
Five people have died in a wildfire in the Altadena area, government officials said.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone, the Eaton Fire has now spread to 10,600 acres. It has not been brought under control.
He said, “Five citizens have died. Several have been injured. More than 1,000 homes have been damaged or completely destroyed so far.”
Anthony Marrone said officials from outside California and Arizona are also assisting firefighters
The wildfire in Los Angeles continues to spread. A state of emergency has been declared in view of the risk of the fire spreading.
