Kathmandu. Mark Carney, the leader of Canada’s ruling Liberal Party, has been sworn in as the country’s 24th Prime Minister.
In addition, he has formed a new cabinet. The 24-member Transitional Cabinet includes key leaders who hold central responsibilities for managing Canada-US relations.
It is mentioned in the news that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Melanie Joly, will remain. Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Francois-Philippe Champagne has been promoted as Minister of Finance.
