Israel’s air force said, it dropped more than 1,200 munitions across 24 of Iran’s 31 provinces in a joint operation with the US. Iran has launched strikes across nine countries including Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. According to the Red Crescent, 555 people have been killed in Iran in the joint US-Israeli attacks. The deadliest strike hit a girls’ elementary school in Minab, killing about 180 children. Iranian state media reported that the wife of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has also scummed to airstrike injuries. In Israel, an Iranian ballistic missile struck Beit Shemesh, killing nine people and injuring more than 20.
Four US soldiers were also killed and five seriously injured in Iranian attacks in Kuwait. In Bahrain, an Asian worker died when missile debris hit a vessel in Salman Industrial City. Iraqi media and Kataib Hezbollah said two fighters were killed and five injured in strikes on Jurf al-Sakher base. Kuwait reported one death and 32 injuries in a drone attack on Kuwait International Airport.
In Lebanon, Israeli retaliatory strikes after Hezbollah attacks killed at least 52 people and injured 154, according to the Health Ministry. The government has banned Hezbollah’s military activities. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad said its Lebanon military wing commander was also killed in a strike south of Beirut.
Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry said missile and drone attacks killed two Bangladeshis and injured seven others across the Middle East. In the UAE, three people including a Pakistani national were killed and 58 injured when debris fell near Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.
