More than 70 people were injured when a train carriage leaked out in Russia

Moscow. In Russia, more than 70 people were injured when nine carriages of a passenger train fell through a leak. According to the local media of Russia, the condition of seven of the injured is alarming.

So far, no one has been confirmed dead in this incident. The passenger train was heading from Vorkuta in North-East Komi to the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.

The distance between the two places is 5000 km. Name of the train involved in the accident is train 511. It is said that the road may be blocked due to recent heavy rains.

According to the report, the railway operator said that there were 232 passengers on board the 14-coach train.

Traffic was blocked on the affected road

According to a railway official, the accident took place at 6:12 pm local time near Inta city. According to a statement issued on Telegram, emergency service officials and relief teams have been dispatched to the scene.

Steps are being taken to help the injured passengers. Vehicular movement has been stopped in that section. The work is being done to collect the details of the victims. Geographically, north-eastern Komi is above the Arctic Circle.
