Kathmandu: Nepal reports 62 new cases of COVID-19 with no fatalities in the past 24 hours. Of the total cases detected across the country today, 45 were confirmed in Kathmandu Valley alone.

The Ministry of Health and Population stated that 19 patients recovered during the same period with no fatalities in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of active cases of coronavirus across the country stands at 261. The recovery rate thus stands at 98.8 percent. Also, 184,545 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, adds the ministry.
