Kathmandu : The Nepali Communist Party has urged all leftist, socialist, true democratic and patriotic forces to unite and join the process of polarisation and collaboration.

In an appeal note on Saturday, the Nepali Communist Party has asked all such like-minded forces to join the polarisation campaign under the newly-constituted Nepali Communist Party by considering the existing national contexts, needs and public aspirations.

Stating that Marxism-Leninism was the ideological tool for the liberation of the proletariat class, the Nepali Communist Party reaffirmed its guiding principle as the same and added that the foundation for the party unity was correct ideology, political progress and centralisation of all experiences and powers.

The party’s strategic programme is establishing socialism with Nepali characteristics, it is stated.

“The major basis for unity was advancing on the path of socialism through good governance, social justice and prosperity being based on the same guiding principle and programme,” according to the appeal.

It is stated that the Nepali Communist Party was formed after the unification of 15 different communist and socialist parties with a mission to accomplish the socialist revolution while safeguarding republicanism and national independence, maintaining good governance and social justice and transforming socioeconomic status.
