Nepal’s second consecutive victory

Kathmandu: The Nepali national cricket team, which is in the West Indies for World Cup preparations, has registered its second consecutive victory against Winwards Volcanoes. Nepal won by 49 runs in the second match at Park Hill ground.

Chasing the target of 180 runs given by Nepal, the home team ended up with 130 runs in 18.4 overs.

In the victory of Nepal, Kushal Bhurtel took 3 wickets by spending 12 runs in 3 overs, while Gulshan Jha also took 3 wickets by giving 18 runs in 3 overs. Sompal Kami, Lalit Rajvanshi, Dipendra Singh Airi and Avinash Bohora took 1 (1) wickets.

Before that, Nepal, who won the toss and batted, scored 179 runs by losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Anil Sah played an explosive innings for Nepal and scored 50 runs off 27 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Similarly, captain Rohit Paudel added 41 runs off 33 balls. Kushal had scored 38 runs in 10 overs until he was dismissed. Dipendra Singh Airey scored 26 runs. Pratish Jisi scored 6 runs while Sandeep Zora scored 2 runs and Gulshan Jha scored 1 run. Sompal Kami was not out for 3 runs and Avinash Bohora was not out for zero.
