Kathmandu : Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said there is no choice before the country but to hold an election to the House of Representatives (HoR) for political solution.

During a programme organized at party central office, Koteshwor to welcome new members, Coordinator Dahal, who is also the former prime minister, urged everyone not to run after reinstatement of dissolved HoR but to help create atmosphere conducive to the election. The political parties have major roles to build atmosphere, he reminded.

Coordinator Dahal argued only a single communist force is not enough for national development and public welfare, so unity among all communist powers is imperative at present. Polarization of leftist forces with similar ideological perspective has begun in the country in order to protect national independence and find political solution, he underscored.

On the occasion, Joint-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal welcomed new entrants to the party and claimed that NCP was gradually gaining popularity among people.

He said strengthening party organization is necessary in view of the imminent test they are facing.

A team led by district level leader of CPN UML, Jay Prakash Tharu, from Parsa entered the Dahal-led party.
