Overview of Lumbini Regional Hospital by UK Development Minister

Lumbini. British Minister for Development and Africa and Commonwealth Development Office, Andrew Mitchell, who is on a visit to Nepal, visited Lumbini Regional Hospital in Butwal on Monday.

British Minister Mitchell expressed concern about the hospital’s maternal health, infant health and children’s nutrition programs, and promised to increase support. Expressing his appreciation for the health services provided by the hospital, Mitchell said that the British government is ready to increase financial support in the field of maternal-child health and child nutrition in the hospital.
Lumbini Province Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary, Health Secretary Dr. The health condition of the hospital was discussed in the presence of Janardhan Panthi, Khel raj Pandey, chief of Butwal sub-metropolitan city. On that occasion, Chief Minister Chaudhary informed about the health sector of Lumbini province.
The hospital’s medical superintendent Dr. Sudarshan Thapa informed about the health treatment and condition of the hospital. After observing the OCMC, NICU, SNCU, PICU and children’s nutritional rehabilitation center in the hospital, the health treatment services were discussed. Thapa informed.
Similarly, City Chief Pandey informed that Butwal has given special priority to maternal health and child health and has taken the program forward. On that occasion, Chief Pandey informed Minister Mitchell about the Nepal-British war, Jitgarhi Fort and Ujirsingh and presented a picture of Ujirsingh as a symbol of love.
