Kathmandu : Prime Minister Sushila Karki has directed the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) to work effectively by being result-oriented to justify its relevance. The Foundation is the state-owned institution set up for the promotion and development of indigenous nationalities.

Addressing the 26th Board Council meeting of the Foundation, Prime Minister Karki urged the organization to work further effectively in terms of work execution. The meeting of the Foundation was chaired by the Prime Minister on Monday.

On the occasion, PM Karki suggested that the Foundation should contribute to unveil the country’s diversity through the protection and promotion of all indigenous communities’ cultures, and promote the tourism activities.
The meeting also approved the Foundation’s institutional reports of the fiscal years 2081/82 and 2082/83 BS.
