Kathmandu : Prime Minister Balendra Shah today held discussions with members of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Sudurpaschim Province.

During the meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, both sides exchanged views on development efforts in the province and the challenges seen there. The Prime Minister assured them that the government is taking initiatives to address these issues, according to lawmaker Bharat Khadka from Doti.

“The Prime Minister discussed the development situation in the province with the lawmakers,” he said.

Lawmakers highlighted the need for the construction of the Seti Hydropower Project, the Kailali-Dipayal Roadway, and the Seti Highway, as well as the expansion of irrigation, education, health, and air transport services. The Prime Minister urged them to submit these issues to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat as well.

On Monday, the Prime Minister also held discussions with lawmakers representing the Koshi and Karnali Provinces.
