President Ram Chandra Paudel has authorized the deployment of the Nepali Army for the upcoming House of Representatives election. The approval follows a recommendation from the Council of Ministers, according to President’s Office spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Koirala.

The government had formally requested the authorization several days ago, citing the need for enhanced security arrangements during the election period.
