Bara‘. District Police Office Bara has completed a public awareness program under Community Police Partnership Program on the occasion of International Day Against Human Trafficking. District Police Office Bara organized it in the premises of Bal Mandir located in Kalaiya sub-metropolitan ward number 1. 60 people from various local public representatives, Bhadrabhaladami, intellectuals, social workers, women and local associations were present in this program under the chairmanship of police inspector Vimala Kumari Kathayat.
The main purpose of the program was to spread awareness against human trafficking.
On this occasion, various speakers informed about the risk of human trafficking, its harm and its prevention measures. Police Inspector Kathayat said that the active participation of the community in the campaign against human trafficking is necessary and she expressed her belief that such public awareness programs will spread awareness in the society.
