Rastriya Swatantra Party and Bibeksheel Sajha to unite today

Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Bibeksheel Sajha party are formally announcing a formal unification today. A unity declaration meeting is scheduled be held at the City Hall this afternoon, shared RSP spokesperson Manish Jha.

The RSP has stated that the two parties are coming together to move ahead with the agenda of good governance and progress in the country. Bibeksheel Sajha had decided to formally accept the name, leadership and election symbol of the RSP and merge unconditionally.

The Bibeksheel campaign was launched in 2069 BS under the leadership of the late Ujjwal Thapa. The Bibeksheel Nepali party was formed in 2070 BS and came to be known as the Bibeksheel Sajha party following unification with the Sajha Party.
The RSP was established on 7 Ashar 2079 BS.
