The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to hand over the leadership of the Public Accounts Committee to the main opposition party. Party General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti said the decision was made in line with parliamentary norms, which require the committee to be led by the principal opposition. With this move, the Nepali Congress is set to secure the chair of the influential committee. The party had already signaled its intent to field a candidate for the post.
