Saathi Conducts 3-Day Workshop on MEAL

Kathmandu: Saathi successfully organized a comprehensive workshop on monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning from May 24th to May 26th, 2023. The workshop aimed to enhance the organization’s capacity in these crucial areas and foster effective project management practices.

The workshop was attended by the personnel involved in Saathi’s operations, monitoring, and management functions. Saathi aimed to build the capacity and understanding of monitoring and evaluation techniques, as well as promote a culture of accountability and learning within the organization and among the staff involved.

As part of Saathi’s ongoing efforts to develop its organizational capacity, this workshop played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s overall Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) plan. By equipping participants with the necessary tools and knowledge, Saathi aimed to enhance project performance, measure impact, and promote a results-oriented approach.

The workshop covered various essential monitoring, evaluation, and accountability topics. These included result-based monitoring and evaluation methodologies, using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) indicators, and project cycle management techniques, among others. The interactive sessions and practical exercises allowed participants to gain hands-on experience and delve deeper into the subject and analyze Saathi’s current intervention from a result perspective.
