काठमाडौँ – सरकारले नेपाली काँग्रेस पूर्व सभापति शेरबहादुर देउवाको बुढानीलकण्ठस्थित निवास भत्काउन रोक लगाएको छ । जेनजी आन्दोलनको दोस्रो दिन देउवा निवासमा आगजनी भएको थियो । आगजनीका क्रममा घरभित्र ठुलो मात्रमा नगद जलेको थियो ।
जलेको नगदका विषयमा अनुसन्धानका लागि घर प्रमाण बन्न सक्ने भन्दै अहिले सुरक्षित गरेर राख्न प्रहरीलाई निर्देशन भएको प्रहरी उच्च स्रोतले जानकारी दिएको छ । उक्त घरमा जलेको अकुत नगद बारे पुन अनुसन्धान सुरु गर्ने तयारी भइरहेको छ ।
शेरबहादुर देउवा र आरजु राणा निर्वाचनको केही दिन अघि मात्रै सिंगापुर उडेका थिए। यो बिचमा पूर्व सरकारले देउवाको जलेको घरका विषयमा चासो नराख्दा देउवा दम्पतीले सुटुक्क घर भत्काउन ठेक्का लगाएर सिंगापुर उडेका थिए ।
