Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has instructed to strictly follow the revenue collection as per target.
In the discussion of the representatives of relevant ministries and agencies today at the Singh Darbar, Prime Minister Oli directed to strictly control revenue leakages. He urged strict measures to prevent illegal activities such as theft, customs evasion, customs exemption or low invoices.
Oli said that the economy has the capacity to collect up to 15 trillion in revenue. He asked to come up with a concrete plan of what should be done to collect revenue as per the target.
In the discussion, Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar, Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Leeladevi Gattoula, Secretaries of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Finance, Inspector General of Nepal Police and Armed Police, Chief Investigation Officer of National Investigation Department, Revenue Investigation Department, Director General of Customs Department, etc. There was participation.
