Kathmandu – The second ‘WS Community Day’ has been grandly completed at Sunway College in Maitidevi, Kathmandu.
Organized by ‘WS User Group Nepal’ and co-hosted by Jaynes Solutions and Sunway College, the program was enthusiastically attended by youth, tech professionals and leaders in the field of information technology who wanted to know about cloud. The event provided a platform for the participants from Nepal and abroad to exchange ideas and discuss the latest trends related to cloud computing.
AWS Community Day is a community-organized cloud education event where expert AWS users and professionals from around the world share technical knowledge.
Welcoming the participants, the director of Sunway College, Kushal Regmi, gave information about the courses taught in his college. He also shed light on the purpose of the program.
AWS Ambassador Anjani Phuyal, leader of ‘WS User Group Nepal’ and Chief Executive Officer of Genes Solutions, discussed the journey since the establishment of ‘WS User Group Nepal’ in 2018 and shared his experience about the latest developments in the field of WWS, WWS technologies and best practices. .
The main speaker of the program, Vishwajit Mohapatra, CIO Advisory Customer Relations Department for India and South Asia of WWS, gave a presentation on how to best use WWS infrastructure from cloud architecture design. Similarly, Ridhima Kapoor, working as a developer marketing manager at WWS India, informed about cloud computing, emerging technologies and the transformative power of WWS Solutions.
Speaking at the core technical session, Sushant Paudel, the ambassador of Amazon Web Services in Nepal and an active member of WWS User Group Nepal, gave an interesting presentation on WWS Nitro Cards and other topics.
Throughout the day, the participants learned from the leaders of the ‘WS User Group’ community and received information about technologies associated with Amazon Web Services such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, performance computing and cloud computing technology. The ‘WS Community Day’ provided expert presentations as well as workshops and networking opportunities to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of the participants and support innovation and professional growth.
The ‘Women in Technology’ session was coordinated by Shiqal Foundation, a community partner of ‘WS Community Day’.
In the ‘DevOps track’ which started after the panel discussion, various speakers shared their experiences about the power of DevOps knowledge in WWS. Similarly, in the ‘Cloud Security Track’, speakers such as Sundar Shrestha, Aviral Sangraula and others shared their experiences about the practical effects of Amazon Arira and Amazon RDS’s vector database power.
