Kathmandu: The three-day theater festival ‘Mad Fest-2024’ has started from today at Mandala Theater in New Baneshwar Thapagaon.
The festival was jointly inaugurated by the Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol, artist Pashupati Rai, director of the festival Anup Neupane and artist Somnath Khanal.
This festival, which will last for 3 days from today, is jointly organized by the alumni of Mandala Theater and the theatre.
In the festival, there will be interactive programs in genres such as panel discussion, poetry, music performance, news drama, etc.
In the festival, ‘Railway to Nowhere’ directed by Sanyog Gurgai, ‘Mirror’ written by Adan Batri and Sushant Basnet and directed by Basnetai, ‘Shilpini’ written by Shreya Singh and directed by Vedan Rai, ‘Nugdha’ written by Pravin Tamang and directed by Vijay Tamang Blon, ‘Nugdha’ written by Pritisha Adhikari and ‘Agam’ directed by Sagar Karki and ‘Ankuran’ written and directed by Sagar Karki will be staged.
