कविता राईको उपन्यास ‘गुरु’ सार्वजनिक

२३ चैत्र, काठमाडौँ — कवि कविता राईको पहिलो उपन्यास ‘गुरु’ सार्वजनिक भएको छ । कमलादीस्थित नेपाल प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठानमा बुधबार राईसहित समालोचक ज्ञानु अधिकारी, साहित्यकार हरिप्रसाद सिलवाल, कवि शशी लुमुम्बु लगायतले उपन्यास लोकार्पण गरे । उपन्यासमा एक शिक्षकको कथालाई केन्द्रमा राखेर समकालीन समाजको चित्रलाई उतारिएको छ ।

राईले उज्यालो छर्नेहरुको कथामा टेकेर शिक्षण पेसाको महिमा, यसमा समाजले राखेको दृष्टिकोण, एक शिक्षकको भोगाई, राजनीतिले थिलथिलो पारेको समाज र शिक्षा, समकालीन नियतिलाई उतारेकी छन् ।

 

उपन्यासले अहिलेसम्म उठान नगरिएको विषय मार्मिक र रोचक ढंगले उठान गरेको समालोचक अधिकारीले बताइन् । ‘उपन्यासभित्र एक शिक्षकको कथामा पुरुष मनोविज्ञान समेटिएको छ’, अधिकारीले भनिन्, ‘शिक्षकको कथामार्फत नै उपन्यासकारले जन्मेदेखि मृत्युसम्मका कथाहरु बुन्नु भएको छ ।’ उपन्यासलाई मानव जीवन तथा समकालीन सबै घटनाहरुको संग्रहका रुपमा लिन सकिने अधिकारीले सुनाइन् ।

शिक्षण पेसासँगै साहित्य सिर्जनामा सक्रिय रहेकी राईले यसअघि ‘आमा र जून’कवितासंग्रह बजारमा ल्याइसकेकी छन् ।
