Toronto. Canadian actor Donald Sutherland has passed away. Donald passed away on June 20 after a long battle with the disease. The news of the death was confirmed by Kiefer Sutherland, the son of the actor. Kiefer penned an emotional note on social media.
He has said in the note that he is telling the news of his father’s death with a heavy heart. He also said that he considers his father to be the most important actor in the history of film. In the note, Kiper wrote that he was not afraid of any role, good, bad, ugly and loved his work very much.
Donald’s son Kipper has also worked in several films with father and son. Some of these are Max Dugan Returns, Forsaken, and A Time to Kill. His acting in movies including The Dirty Dozen, Mash, Clute, The Hunger Games and Don’t Look Now made Donald an icon. He worked in almost 200 films in his half-century-long acting career. Donald has left a good impression on television as well.
