Wimbledon: Andy Murray, Casper Ruud and Emma Raducanu crash out of the tournament

London: In Wimbledon Tennis, top seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia advanced into the third round after defeating Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-1,6-4,6-2 in Men’s Singles.

Ninth seed Cameron Norrie and 10th seed Jannik Sinner have also entered the third round.

However, Third seed Casper Ruud was knocked out of the tournament by unseeded Frenchman Ugo Humbert in the second round.
British star Andy Murray crashed out of the tournament after losing to American John Isner, 6-4, 7-6, (7/4), 6-7, (3/7), 6-4 in the second round.

In Women’s Singles, Third seed Ons Jabeur of Tunisia and Fifth seed Maria Sakkari advanced to the third round of tournament.
Tunisian Jabeur registered a 6-4, 6-0 win over Polish qualifier Katarzyna Kawa in the second round.

Maria Sakkari of Greece overpowered Viktoriya Tomova 6-4, 6-3.

However, Second seed Anett Kontaveit was knocked out of Wimbledon, losing to World number 97 Julie Niemeier of Germany 6-4, 6-0 in the second round.

Britain’s 10th seed Emma Raducanu also bowed out of Wimbledon after losing to Caroline Garcia of France, 3-6, 3-6 in the second round.
