Kanchanpur. The bird, which is considered rare and endangered in the world, has appeared in the central area of Shuklaphanta National Park. The Bagale Bagedi bird appeared for the first time in the outer area of the park. Suwan Chaudhary, a conservationist, said that the Bagale Bagedi bird was found in the field of a local farmer in Dhaknia, Shuklaphanta Municipality-2. He said that he saw 32 flocks of sparrow-like but colorful birds.
Choudhary, a conservationist, said that after many years, the bird, which is considered rare in the world, appeared, and has been conducting regular inspections. “After seeing a different species of bird, I took a picture and sent it to the Nepal Bird Conservation Association”, he said. “We have received information that it is a rare species of bird.”
According to Hirulal Dagoura, an ornithologist of the Nepal Bird Conservation Association, this bird was first documented in 1980 in the Shuklaphanta National Park. After that, the data of this bird was not kept, he said. He said that the Bagale Bagedi bird appeared after 44 years of documentation.
