Dharan : The 27th edition of the Pokhara Street Festival is scheduled to be held from December 28 to January 1 in the Lakeside area of Pokhara.

The organisers shared about this through a press conference in Itahari today. The street festival, organised by the Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) Pokhara, would be held on a stretch of approximately 3.5 kilometres along the lakeside area of Phewa Lake.

According to REBAN Pokhara coordinator Basanta Gautam, the festival, organised with the main slogan “Let’s eat on the street, let’s dance on the street, let’s celebrate on the street,” has been significantly contributing to the promotion of food, culture and music, as well as the development of tourism in Pokhara.

The organisers said that the festival will be held in collaboration with the ‘Visit Pokhara Year 2025’ announced by Pokhara Metropolitan City this year.

The main attractions of the festival include cultural floats and dances of various ethnic groups of Nepal, a food festival featuring national and international cuisines, art performances by renowned artists, folk duet songs performance, boat race and waiter races on Phewa Lake, tug-of-war, tourism-related talks, documentaries, and photo exhibitions, coordinator Gautam informed.

The main sponsor of the festival is Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd., while the co-sponsors are Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited, The Nepal Distillery Pvt. Ltd., Yeti Distillery Pvt. Ltd., and Nepal Telecom. The organisers shared that Siddhartha Bank is the banking partner of the event.
