Kathmandu – More than 6,000 aircraft around the world have been temporarily grounded. The flights of various airlines around the world have been disrupted after European aircraft manufacturer Airbus said it would check all its A320 series aircraft for software problems.
According to international news agency Reuters, a JetBlue flight from Cancun, Mexico, to New Jersey suddenly lost altitude and plummeted rapidly on October 30. Some passengers were injured in the incident.
Airbus has ordered checks on all its planes after a technical inspection of the same plane found a software glitch, Reuters reported. This has reportedly affected more than half of Airbus’ A320 series aircraft in operation worldwide. Agency
