Kathmandu- Santosh Pariyar, a member of the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party’s chairman council, will receive the Dr. Ambedkar International Award.
Pariyar wrote a status on Facebook on Friday and informed that he was selected for the award.
Pariyar informed that he will go to India on Friday to receive the award. The program will be held in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday.
The award is given by the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, established in the name of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of India’s Constitution and leader of the Dalit movement.
The foundation has been giving this award every year to those who work in the field of social justice and empowerment.
Pariyar said he was happy to be associated with Dr. Ambedkar, who has been studying the same name.
“I will do everything I can for those around the world who are marginalized, marginalized, and excluded from society’s culture, economy, and politics,” he said.
