काठमाडौं –– साउदी अरबले मंगलबार यमनको बन्दरगाह सहर मुकल्लामा बमबारी गरेको छ । साउदी अरबले संयुक्त अरब इमिरेट्स (युएई)बाट पृथकतावादी समूहका लागि हतियारको सिपमेन्ट आएको भन्दै उक्त आक्रमण गरेको बताएको छ । युएईले भने आक्रमण अस्वीकार गरेको छैन ।
यो आक्रमणले साउदी अरब र इमिरेट्सले समर्थन गरेको साउदर्न संक्रमण परिषद्का (एसटीसी) पृथकतावादी शक्तिहरूबीच नयाँ तनाव वृद्धि भएको संकेत गरेको बताइएको छ ।
यो घटनाले रियाध र अबु धाबीबीचको सम्बन्धलाई थप तनावपूर्ण बनाउने पनि बताइएको छ । साउदी अरब र इमिरेट्सले यमनको दशक लामो इरानसमर्थित हुथी विद्रोहीविरुद्धको युद्धमा प्रतिस्पर्धी पक्षलाई समर्थन गर्दै आएका थिए । यसले समयमा रेडसी क्षेत्रमा चिन्ताको वातावरण बनेको बताइएको छ ।
यमनका हुथीविरोधी शक्तिहरूले मंगलबार आपत्काल घोषणा गर्दै उनीहरूले नियन्त्रण गरेको क्षेत्रमा सबै सीमा नाकाहरू, विमानस्थल र बन्दरगाहमा ७२ घण्टाको प्रतिबन्ध लगाएका छन् ।
सरकारी प्रेस एजेन्सीले यी हवाई आक्रमणको घोषणा गरेको र ती हतियारहरू फुजेराह (युएईको पूर्वी तटको बन्दरगाह सहर)बाट मुकल्ला पुगेपछि आक्रमण भएको उल्लेख गरेको छ ।
आक्रमणबाट कुनै हताहत नभएको बताइएको छ । साथै, साउदीबाहेक अन्य कुनै सेनाले भाग लिएको थियो वा थिएन भन्ने पनि बताइएको छैन ।
