A report by Afghan Diaspora Network has warned that Pakistan military is providing operational space to groups like Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood, enabling support for local terror outfits, including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). The report said, this convergence increases the risks of miscalculation, ideological spillover, and proxy entanglement across two already volatile regions of South Asia and the West Asia.

The report further stated that Pakistan has long backed and supported UN-designated terrorist organisations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) to facilitate cross-border terrorism. Even when Pakistan banned these groups under international pressure, the report said that they continue to retain a very active operational space via affiliates and front structures.
