Six Nepali tennis players leaving for Vietnam

Kathmandu : Six Nepali players are going to participate in U-14 World Junior Tennis Championship scheduled in Vietnam.

Savya Jung Karki, Bishwo Bishesh Dallakoti and Aryash Raj Poudel towards men players while Sara Panta, Ara Khatri and Sworaha Thapa towards women players would participate in the championship. Kumar Adhikari is the coach.

The women’s tennis championship is taking place from March 2-7. The team along with coach is leaving for Vietnam on Friday.

Similarly, the championship of men players is scheduled from March 9-14 and the team would leave here for Vietnam on March 6.

At a programme organised here on Thursday, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council Ram Charitra Mehata bade farewell to tennis players, wishing them success.
