A Poem by Rocky Gauri, a Bangladeshi Poet, in Nepali translation by Sushant Thapa

Crying Like a Child

Because we have no one,
Many cries have faded away,
Shedding sorrow on the last night.
The heart of the world still cries like a child,
In the pain of days gone by.

No one will ever know—
In the monsoon, teardrops fall, painted with hues of pain.
And those who see the cloth that wipes them away
Will only whisper—how beautiful, a rainbow!
