Kathmandu: Balen Shah, an independent candidate for the post of the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City is currently leading the vote count.

Balne is leading the vote count with 2,820 votes. His nearest contender was Keshav Sthapit who garnered 1,507 votes.

Likewise, Srijana Singh, Nepali Congress’s candidate for the post has collected 1,449 votes.
