Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar continues its remarkable run at the box office, registering another major jump in collections during its third weekend. Despite fresh competition from Avatar: Fire and Ash, the film has strengthened its domestic hold and pushed its global earnings close to the ₹800 crore mark.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar earned ₹33.50 crore net in India on Saturday, marking an impressive 50% growth over Friday’s collections. With this, the film’s total India net collection now stands at ₹516.50 crore, while its gross domestic earnings have reached ₹619.75 crore after 16 days in theatres.

This milestone makes Dhurandhar only the seventh Hindi film to cross ₹500 crore net at the Indian box office, and notably, the fastest to achieve the feat, surpassing the timelines of blockbusters such as Jawan and Stree 2.

On the international front, the film witnessed solid momentum during its second week. Although overseas collections dipped slightly in the third weekend due to the global release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, Dhurandhar has still amassed approximately $18.5 million gross overseas.

As a result, the film’s worldwide box office collection has reached ₹785 crore by day 16. Trade analysts expect the film to cross ₹800 crore globally within days. It is also poised to overtake Chhaava (₹807 crore) and then target Kantara Chapter 1 (₹852 crore) to potentially become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025.

Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian intelligence operative on a high-risk mission to infiltrate criminal and terror networks in Karachi. The ensemble cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan. While the film opened to moderate numbers, strong word-of-mouth has driven its sustained box office growth. A sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2, is scheduled for release in March 2026.
