Hamas releases video of two Israeli hostages

Kathmandu: The Hamas group has released a video of another person who attacked Israel and took them hostage on October 7 last year.

Hamas has released the video of the hostage amid suspicions that those held hostage by Hamas have been killed during the ongoing war. Israeli citizen Omri Miran, who is under the control of Hamas, said in a video that he has been under the control of Hamas for 222 days.

Hamas has released a video of another hostage, Keith Siegel, along with Miran. After their video became public, the family members appealed to the government to reach an agreement with Hamas and release the hostages.

Hamas, showing interest in a cease-fire, released a video of the two hostages and confirmed that the hostages are safe. On October 7, Hamas attacked Israel and kidnapped more than 250 people. 1200 people died in that attack.

In response to that, Israel’s continued attack has killed more than 34,000 people in Gaza. Meanwhile, the protests that started in the US demanding an end to the Israeli attack on Gaza have intensified amid police repression.

The demonstration started by students from Columbia University has now spread to various universities and colleges. Police detained more than 500 participants in the demonstration.
