Kathmandu- Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that Russia does not want war with Europe, but if Europe wants to, we are ready for it.
Putin had earlier addressed an investment forum, informing that a meeting had been scheduled with US special envoy Steve Witkoff on ending the war in Ukraine. After the speech, he left without participating in the Q&A, but spoke briefly to journalists gathered in the lobby of the Trade Center on the way.
Asked about Europe’s involvement in the peace process, Putin accused European countries of not having a peaceful agenda. He also commented that Europe was obstructing US mediation efforts.
Putin said, “We do not want to fight with Europe. But if Europe wants to fight with us, we are ready now.” He also made it clear that Russia could not accept Europe’s conditions for ending the war. Agency
