Kathmandu. Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi who is on a visit to Nepal visited Pokhara on Saturday. During this, he addressed the ex-Gorkha soldiers living in Nepal who gathered in the premises of the Pension Payment Office in Pokhara. General Upendra Dwivedi and President of Army Spouse Welfare Association (Indian Army) Sunita Dwivedi had a conversation with them while honoring bravery award winners and brave women present at the ceremony.
The Indian army chief praised the bravery of the Gurkha soldiers and saluted their courage and dedicated service to the nation. According to a statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Nepal, after General Upendra Dwivedi visited the West Pritna headquarters of the Nepalese Army in Pokhara and interacted with the Chief of Staff Santosh Ballabh Paudyal and his staff officers.
