Kathmandu: International Yoga Day celebrated in  Nepal on a large scale to make people aware of Yoga.  International Day of Yoga celebrated in  Kathmandu in the august presence of Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deuba highlighting the message of  Yoga For Humanity.

 

The Embassy of India in Kathmandu celebrated the 8th International Day of Yoga on Tuesday. On the occasion, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that practicing Yoga gives positive energy to body and mind and that it should be made a part of one’s daily life.

Likewise, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki attended the event as Guest of Honor and encouraged everyone to do yoga regularly.

Charge d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy, Namgya Khampa emphasized that the ancient tradition of yoga is our shared civilizational heritage and should be spread for the benefit of entire humanity.
