Israel continues to launch heavy attacks on Gaza

Israel continued to launch heavy attacks on Gaza. Large explosions were reported from many parts of the Gaza Strip, especially in the north. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have indicated that they plan to send more troops to the besieged enclave in the coming hours. The IDF again asked civilians in northern Gaza to move south.

Israel’s military said it had encircled Gaza City and divided the besieged coastal strip into two. The IDF troops are expected to enter Gaza City within 48 hours.
