Poetic Justice, A Poem Composed by W. J. Manares

Poetic Justice
A Poem Composed by W. J. Manares

Poetaster, let your inner self sing,

Tend to your dreams, let inspiration take wing.

Gather your muses, from nature’s embrace,

Or from the stories of the human race.

Capture emotions, both joy and despair,

For poetry thrives on the power we bear.

With wit and passion, let your verses ring,

And may your poetry forever take wing!

With each word, let your thoughts unfold,

Like a tapestry woven in hues of gold.

Paint a vivid picture, with vibrant imagery,

For in its beauty lies poetry’s treasured key.

Craft your verses, like a masterful dance,

When words intertwine, they have a chance,

To captivate hearts, to stir the soul,

To transcend time, making history whole.

Poetaster, hear this, and hold it tight,

For poetry needs an appreciative light.

Seek the lost words of poets gone by,

Their wisdom and visions, let them never die.

Read with fervor, devour the ancient scrolls,

Discover their secrets, let your imagination unfold.

For in the pages of history, poetry lies,

Preserve the beauty, beneath the starry skies.

Share your verses, let them be heard,

In coffee shops, or with a simple word,

Let your voice echo, in the hearts of mankind,

For it is through unity, that poetry we find.

Go forth, with ink and quill,

Dare to write, to create, to fulfill.

For in your words, a legacy will reside,

Poetry, cherished, for generations to abide.
