Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City to fine Rs 500 each time if people are found disposing unsegregated wastes.

The metropolis has also informed its residents that the KMC will collect degradable and non-degradable wastes separately from the next month.

The local body has also made it clear that the metropolis will not collect those waste materials that are not segregated at the source and will fine Rs 500 each time while collecting the wastes if residents are found disposing of unsegregated wastes.
