NASA confirms water on Mars

Kathmandu: A long-standing scientific research has confirmed that there is water on Mars.

Recently, scientists have confirmed that liquid water reserves have been found in the depths of the Martian rocks. Scientists have discovered water deposits deep in the rocky outer crust of Mars.

Scientists have come to this conclusion from a new analysis of data from NASA’s Mars InSight lander that returned from Mars in 2018.

The lander was carrying a seismometer. It recorded four years of tremors, or earthquakes, from the depths of Mars.

Seismic signals of liquid water have been found through analysis of those earthquakes and planetary motion research.

Although there is evidence of liquid water at the poles of Mars and vapor in the atmosphere, this is the first time liquid water has been found on the planet.
